Strawberry Festival 2013 - Elementary Design a Poster Contest -
And the winners are . . .
You’re invited view the posters and vote for the GRAND PRIZE WINNER during the Strawberry Festival. All artwork will be on display at the Coastal Home Design store on 345 Main Street from 11 am - 3 pm on Sunday, May 26th. This year's poster contest challenges elementary students to create a strawberry superhero with nutritional powers! The grand prize winning artwork may be used for future promotional materials for Child Nutrition Serivces and the Vista Chamber of Commerce.
Design a Poster Contest, Spring 2012
Students created a poster of themselves doing something outside that requires strength and created a slogan about how plant foods make them strong.
We received over 400 posters from 6 sites. All of the winning posters will be displayed on large banners in the cafeterias of the participating schools.
District Grand Prize Winner!
Tyler Guan, 1st grade at Breeze Hill Elementary, created this beautiful poster and won a brand new bike donated by Solar Rain Water Company.
Thank you to Lean & Green Kids, Jimbo's Markets, and Solar Rain Water Company for sponsoring our contest.

Design A Poster Contest March 2011
In March 2011 we celebrated National Nutrition Month with a poster contest challenging students to create their own Breakfast Superhero with nutritional powers. We received over 500 posters from four elementary schools. Thank you to our donors and supporters including the Sunrise Vista Kiwanis Club, the Dairy Council of California, and Jimbo's Markets. Here are the two district Grand Prize winners for the age categories (K-2nd & 3rd-5th).
